What is bone domino?

Bone dominoes, also called ivory dominoes, are a popular game that originated in China in the early 12th century. The original dominoes were made from ivory, bone, or other similar materials. However, today, they are usually made from plastic or resin.

The game of bone dominoes is played with a set of 28 rectangular tiles, each split into two squares, or "bones," with a line down the middle. Each bone is numbered, with the number of pips on each end ranging from zero to six.

The objective of the game is to empty your hand of dominoes before your opponent, by matching the number of pips on the end of a tile with those on the board. If you cannot make a match, you must draw tiles from the boneyard until you can. The first player to get rid of all their tiles is the winner.

Bone dominoes became popular in Europe in the 18th century and spread to the United States in the early 1900s. Today, the game is enjoyed worldwide, with many variations and strategies.
